Cedar Jocks’ Repost of Bloody Breck Video
Slam Video Details
Skier Pseudonym: Cedar Teionietathe Jocks
Crash Location: Breckenridge, Colorado
Crash Date: 3/1/2010
Slam Detail: It was supposed to be a mellow jib day filming in Breck. I didn't see the metal rods holding up the baby tree and when I caught a tip off the rail, i fell onto my back and bounced off the rods. Big hole in my right butt cheek and a fracture in my pelvis... Crash happens at the end of the segment.
***Hi Slytech,
I just entered the slam video contest with a video of a "bloody Slam at Breckenridge." I know I was in the contest a couple of months ago already with the same vid, (actually that one was a bit different and a lot longer. This one is my segment from Shadow Puppet Collection's new film, but it is a lot of the same footage.) But i realized that I was up against Jonah Elston who is a radical little shredder and the son of a good friend of mine. i didn't want to take away his chance of winning so i let the contest go by the wayside. i would really like to be in the contest again this month as i think i could do really well and could really use the protection.
thanks guys!
Be Fun,
have Safe,
and Get Down!
-Cedar Teionietathe Jocks***
***Bloody, gory scenes! If you're a minor or just get quinsy at the site of huge gaping flesh-wounds, don't watch!***

If you think this is one of the gnarliest slam vids on the Slytech blog, click on the FACEBOOK LIKE BUTTONS and TWITTER BUTTONS UP TOP. Also ask yourself: could a back protector have helped prevent some of these injuries? Perhaps the belt of a back protector may have protected his upper bum area? Perhaps the coccyx adapter of the back protector could have softened the blow and averted the fracture pelvis? It's just conjecture, but these are questions worth asking yourself.

Came across this video and you are killing it. I have seen you ski and you are probably one of the best all around skier I have seen!!! Keep it up and keep posting videos! About your ass/hip hope it better because that is the most unlucky things I have seen happen.

This videos already been posted on here man chads video may not look as bad but injuries were way more life threatening and he could really use more protection

Hey Sam… Chad’s video is killer! No doubt. Cedar’s video is technically a different video that I ended posting. None of the votes that he had received last month carried over, so there is no advantage. Sorry about your disappointment… Chad still has 1 day to rake in the votes.

Don’t like my comment Stephan? You must not becuase you didn’t post it. Hmmm….
While my implications were not flattering to Cedar Jocks, I didn’t actually say anything inappropriate. If the reader chooses to infer the same thing I implied, perhaps that means my note might be correct?

hey i have an idea lets get back to the subject of what a rad video this is!!!!

Andy? Why so caustic? I have no idea where you’re coming from… Drew is right… enjoy the art and the slam.

Cedar! such a bad fall! givin u all the support i can for u to win the vid contest!!!

The reason I’m caustic is because this professional rider hops into the contest at the last minute (4 days left) just because there wasn’t much competition – real manly Cedar Jocks. He knows he’s got 700 FB friends (fans more likely), all he needs to do is beg for votes (which is exactly what he’s been doing – his FB page is embarrassing) and he wins. I guess he didn’t want to risk losing the contest, again, which is why he waited till he had an almost sure thing.
In the mean time, a 14 year old amateur, skiing her heart out on an NCAA Div 1 race course, ends up losing the contest because Mr. Big Time decided he needed the back protector more.
Slytech shouldn’t allow it, but they do. It is what it is. I hope you enjoy the back protector Cedar Jocks.

Andy, dude: this is THE MOST COMPETITIVE month out of the 2 that we’ve had. Have you SEEN Libby’s votes? She’s turning it up! I understand the desire to win a Slytech Back Protector, but hey, it’s not worth going off the deep end! Plus, Cedar would have TROUNCED last month’s competition with all his votes, no question. Don’t be a hater.

Mate,
I am hardly from professional. My name is Cedar Teionietathe Jocks. I am an amateur skier and a broke college student who loves to ski and make movies about what I love to do. And My friends on facebook are acquaintances; mostly people I respect and who respect me– Not fans, not followers; friends.
And i am not trying to degrade Libby or her wipe out at all. It is great that she is competing and skiing hard! Libby I am sorry you got hurt, but way-to-get-back-up again! Major Props! But for you, Andy, to imply that I am not skiing my heart out (maybe you think I am just skiing to please companies or “fans”) is opposite of reality. Skiing is my passion and I ski my heart, and my ass, out every time I click in….

No association with comment 11*

mr griffith needs to learn how to read the english language i was merely stating that he needs to stop being a puss n get out of his closet n see that there is other items in skiing than racing or w/e u stand for n the comment to ur d&^k is one saying that i assume that it has been a while since u got ne let alone from a female assuimg ur a male wkae up n learn how to read a harsh statement directed at u n no one else

Stephan – you *know* there wasn’t much competition when Cedar jumped in. And it’s fairly reasonable to infer from his post that he felt he “could do really well” because there was so little competition when he jumped in.
November 30th, 2010 at 4:33 pm
Mr. Thomas – Perhaps you ought to learn to read. All I said was that your post speaks volumes. It says a lot, as you repeated again in post 14. You are right on brother in everything you write – a man of the world I am sure. I look forward to reading more of your insight. Thanks!
